COVID-19 Health & Safety Precautions

We know it’s challenging for your family and our staff when our center closes due to illness, and we’re making this change to better support you in light of the recently updated guidance from the CDC.

The CDC now recommends 5-day quarantine for those who have tested positive for or have been exposed to COVID-19. We’ll work proactively with our local health department to advocate for this shorter closure period rather than our prior 10 or 14-day closures.

With this new CDC recommendation in mind, we’re updating our COVID closures policy to mirror what we do if your center should close due to weather, emergencies, or illness:
      - For the first 3 full business days of a center or classroom closure, you will be charged tuition so we can maintain             teacher pay. This is critical to the retention of our teachers and helps ensure we provide a consistent experience             for your child when the center reopens.
-Note that if we don’t have enough teachers to open the center or classroom, we will NOT charge you tuition                      during closure.

Our hope is that this new protocol is less disruptive to your family, and safer for our community overall.

This change will go into effect 01/31/2022. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Robin Harris
